Today at a glance

Daily Overview — fill once daily

Exactly the v3 Daily Boiler Summary columns. Type meter readings, steam generation and blowdown. Grey fields calculate themselves. First day of a month: type consumption manually (no yesterday in the app yet). Fill one card, tap Next, and so on — you never have to scroll the whole long form.

Plant Overview — key numbers at a glance

Read-only. Every number below is calculated from Daily Overview and Hourly rows already saved. No extra typing. Boiler status is inferred from the latest hourly steam flow — it is not a status the operator typed.

Alarms & blowdown

Inferred status rule: latest hourly steam flow > 0 = Running (green); = 0 = Off (grey); no hourly row on this date = No reading today (amber); hourly row present but steam flow blank = Flow not entered (amber).

Settings — Appwrite (optional, later)

Do NOT paste any password here. The owner creates a free Appwrite Cloud project, then pastes only the Endpoint, Project ID, Database ID and Collection IDs below. If these are blank, the app stays in DEMO mode and still works fully.

Appwrite Endpoint Project ID Database ID Daily Overview Collection ID Hourly Readings Collection ID Sections Collection ID Equipment Collection ID Users Collection ID (for role lookup)

When Appwrite is configured, login will first try Appwrite email/password auth, and readings will be saved to Appwrite as well as locally. Role comes from the user record in the Users collection; if that lookup fails, the user is treated as Operator. Archive to Supabase / R2 is Phase 2, not in this version — every record already has an archived flag and archiveDate field ready for later.
